Privacy for curious families
Updated 10 October 2026. Wonderbee is a child-directed educational game from Ideal Intelligence for ages 6–8 with a parent's guidance. Contact: contact@idealailabs.com.
Learning stays on the device
Completed discoveries, stars, review history, and sound settings are stored locally. We do not ask for a child's name, email, date of birth, photo, voice, or location. There is no child account, social chat, advertising, advertising identifier, microphone recording, behavioral advertising, or third-party analytics SDK.
Game images and AI-generated narration are bundled with the app. No child's speech or learning answers are sent to an AI service. We do not create personalized child profiles.
Optional parent purchases
An adult gate protects purchases, restoration, and external links. Apple or Google handles payment using the parent's store account. We do not receive card details.
After a parent connects the store, the app verifies purchases when buying or restoring and on later app launches or resumes. It sends the store transaction identifier or purchase token, the product identifier, and a random installation identifier to our purchase verification service, hosted on Google Cloud, to check ownership with Apple or Google. The installation identifier binds proof of ownership to this device. These device-linked purchase records are used for app functionality and fraud prevention, not advertising or learning analytics. The verification service does not store a database of raw receipts, purchase tokens, or installation identifiers. Proof of ownership is stored securely on the device. Google Cloud request logs retain the IP address, browser or app user agent, response status, timing, and request and response sizes for 30 days to operate and secure the service. Infrastructure administration audit logs are retained for 400 days. No custom log export sinks were configured. We do not log purchase request bodies or learning content. They are not used to track children across apps.
We do not sell personal data. Purchase information is shared only with the applicable app store and service providers operating verification for us. Apple and Google apply their own privacy policies to store accounts and payments.
Optional authorized review access
Authorized app reviewers can sign in from the parent area using a shared review username and password supplied by Wonderbee. This is not child or customer registration. Sign-in sends those credentials and a separate random installation identifier over HTTPS to our review access service on Google Cloud. We validate the password against a stored hash and do not log or retain the submitted password or request body. A separate signed review grant and identifier are stored securely on the device. Review access lasts up to 30 days per grant and is refreshed on later launches or resumes when online while authorization remains enabled. No learning progress is transmitted. Review access does not represent purchase ownership. The service has the same 30-day connection log and 400-day infrastructure audit log retention described above. Review credentials are nonpersonal shared credentials; we do not ask for a reviewer’s personal account details.
End review access in the parent area to remove its local grant and identifier. This preserves purchases and learning progress. On iOS, secure review records may remain in Keychain after uninstall until sign-out or device/Keychain reset. Credentials can be disabled or rotated by Wonderbee; an authentic cached grant can continue offline until its expiry, for at most 30 days.
Control and retention
Parents can reset learning progress inside the parent area or remove the app to erase local learning progress and settings. Secure purchase proof and the installation identifier are stored separately; on iOS, these Keychain records may remain after uninstall until the device or Keychain is reset. Store purchase records remain subject to Apple's or Google's retention requirements. Resetting progress does not erase a purchase or grant a refund. Contact us to ask about any information processed by our verification service; we may need the store transaction reference to locate it. Do not include a child's personal information.
Support and this website
If a parent contacts support, we receive the information they voluntarily send and use it to address their request. This website uses GitHub Pages hosting and no advertising or analytics scripts. Hosting providers may process basic security logs when a browser requests a page.
Updates
Material changes will be reflected here with a new date. We will not add child accounts, advertising, or new uses of children's personal information without updating the app's design and applicable parental controls.
